At the number 5 spot, we have the 2011 Tigers. LSU finished the year 13-1 with the only loss coming in the BCS Championship to to Alabama. This team featured Jarret Lee, Michael Ford, Spencer Ware, and Tyrann Mathieu. The Tigers finished the year ranked #2 in the final AP Poll.

4. 2007 12-2 (BCS Championship – W)

LSU defeated Georgia in the SEC Championship Game, Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl, and Clemson in the College Football Championship.
